Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the US. she is the current president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a California born Buss grew up in an affluent family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon after which he later became the owner of the Lakers. Her parents divorced in 1972. separated up and she felt emotionally abandoned. In 1972, at age 19, she began working within the family's company. The team was later renamed her own Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. Prior to becoming vice-president of the Lakers She was also the president of Great Western Forum. Buss, her five brothers and sisters and their father, who owned the Lakers and ruled them until the time of his death in 2013, took over the ownership via the trust. They each had equal the right to vote. Buss assumed the role of the president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also co-owner in Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion that is based at Los Angeles.
