Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and composer. He combines soul gospel jazz and R&B for a distinctive blend. From Broadway to European festival and clubs, Avery Sunshine has been a hit all over the world. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. The singer hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by singing and playing piano in church. In Atlanta, she attended Spellman College where her musical training began on the city's R&B Scene. The Fighting Temptations The single that featured her vocals, Stalk You a House 12, was released only in Japan. It's been remixed numerous times and it is a mainstay of her live performances. She also has contributed her singing on The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005she took on the role of the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 about serving as the director of chorus for Dreamgirls, the theatre production that was part of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was caught the attention of America during 4 performances per day during 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being requested to sing with President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
