Heidi

Heidi Klum, born on 1 June 1973 in Bergisch Gladbach Germany. Erna is her mother. She was stylist. Her father Gunther Klum worked as the executive for a cosmetics business. Heidi's father had earlier been an executive in charge of production for the 4711 perfume company. She grew up in her home town of Bergisch Gladbach a city of approximately 100,000 inhabitants just six miles to the east of Cologne. The former model of German descent is now a host as well as producer for fashion and business and actress living and works in both the southern part of California as well as Germany. It was a program sponsored by the German women's magazine Petra was an evening talk show with host Thomas Gottschalk. Klum was up against over the 25,000 contestants from Germany and Europe for the chance to be among the three semifinalists. In April 1992 she won the highest prize of $300,000.
